story behind url: I had my original blog @cafe-der-nederlanden from 2012-16 and that stems from my love of coffee (My first RP blog was cafe-sverige so you see a trend) so when I decided to venture to Indieland, I wanted to keep that coffee love alive. Koffie huis Love = Coffee house Love. I am addicted, what can I say? Plus, Netherlands likes to take credit on some accounts I’ve read, for bringing coffee to Europe. You’re welcome!

inspiration for muse: Ok, so back in 2012, I was told to read the ever popular fanfic “Gutters” by my then-Finland mun to my Sweden. I was told it was a necessity as a mun to a Nordic muse. So I ripped through it, winding up with a headache from crying so crazy hard. However, there was a small appearance by a certain Netherlands that I simply could not expel from my mind. Who was this guy, besides the few things I’ve seen in fanarts? Why did he do the things he did in Gutters? Was there more than just some junkie pedo that smoked pot all day as I had seen him portrayed outside of Gutters? Could I do it? The ring I was in, well, I ran the ring so I had my “top officers” judge the hell out of my Netherlands application. If I sucked, no big deal, but if I did well enough, I could take it from there. Yep. That was April 2012. Been trying to prove there is more to Jan since that day.
